u11 Festival of Hurling - There was a great buzz at our club grounds last Sunday when our U11’s hosted a Ward & Burke sponsored Festival of Hurling. On a rare day of warm sunshine, we hosted Kilmacud Crokes (Dublin), Naas (Kildare), Eoghan Ruadh (Tyrone), Kiladangan (Tipperary), Ballina (Mayo) and Ballyea (Clare) & Ballindereen (Galway). Over 200 kids played 5 matches each and ate their way through a mountain of food! The standard of hurling was excellent and the 3 Clarinbridge teams entered competed brilliantly, especially the younger boys from U10. Thanks to everyone who helped out, it was a real team effort with lots of club members involved.
